A giltwood Napoleon III Mirror circa late 19th century.
Sourced from the Basque region of South West France, this handsome mirror features elegant, repeated floral decoration.
The mirror plate is original with very minor marks and light foxing.
With minor age-related losses to the decorative gesso, these subtle imperfections contribute to the mirror’s character and do not detract from the overall decorative beauty of the piece.
A fine mirror.
