Item Description
An original Military Campaign chest of drawers in pine with wrought iron carry handles.
This lovely chest has its original brass fixtures and fittings and a brass name plate reading R H Tiller, probably the junior officer who owned it, hence the use of cheaper materials, which makes this piece a more unusual find than its mahogany counterparts.
This lovely unit is probably only one half of the chest, they came in two sections with removable turned feet which could be place on either section. This section has two short drawers to the top with a long, deep second drawer below, each drawer has a lock but unfortunately no keys.
Great condition, well travelled with decades of wear and tear, resulting in a lovely patina.
A lovely storage chest, side table or tv stand.
