Victorian iron back chair, circa 1840’s.
A beautiful piece with iron backrest and wooden seat frame. It has a deep button backed rest and sprung seat pad, filled with horse hair and ornate carved cabriole legs on original castors.
The gold and cream original fabric is bordered with rope piping as are the arms, all a little threadbare and almost deconstructed giving that exquisite design look.
Or ideal for re-upholstering and restoration to make it something really special.
