The chest is distinguished by its fluted side columns and sits on tapered, square legs characteristic of the period . Finished in a later chalk paint Farrow and Ball close to "Parma Gray" and "Green Blue", providing a soft, distressed aesthetic. The antique handles and escutcheons are solid brass.
