Item Description
Style: Exuding 1970s Hollywood Regency glamour, this drinks trolley is a retro dream. Its brass-plated and Lucite construction, complete with elegant curves, will bring a touch of old Hollywood style and functionality to your lounge. Double Lucite handles and two Lucite shelves with some light scratch marks consummate with age, above the bottom shelf is a Lucite three bottle holder fixture.
Story: The drinks trolley, also known as a bar cart, originated from the Victorian tea trolley. After prohibition it become a popular feature in 1950s homes for serving cocktails during the rise of cocktail parties. Lucite is a high quality brand of acrylic, developed by DuPont in the later 1930'sa and used for furniture in the 1960's and 70's. Shatterproof, it's a popular choice in place of glass.
