Item Description
Style: In three parts; The base a solid, circular foundation that’s been lovingly weathered by decades of sun and rain. A top of this, the pedestal, a baluster‑style column supports the bowl with a classic, architectural silhouette. Topped with a generously sized, shell‑shaped basin - its interior displays a warm, sun‑kissed discoloration accented by delicate lichen. Note: A small split on the upper edge of the bowl; purely cosmetic, it doesn't affect the basin’s ability to hold water. H 62cm W bowl 54cm W base 30cm
Story: Bird baths began as natural puddles and shallow rock depressions, later becoming decorative garden elements in Roman times. It wasn’t until the 1830's that the first purpose‑made bird baths were crafted.
