Item Description
An excellent Machin porcelain yellow shell pattern (no 208) slop bowl in very good condition planted with Primula vulgaris / Primroses. This "Yellow Shell" pattern was very popular during the Georgian period and versions were made by Newhall, Machin and Hicks and Meigh with slight variations.
Manufactored c 1805, we are constantly on the lookout for these bowls. In good over all condition, slight rubbing to pattern interior and minor enamel loss to the rim but no chips or cracks or crazing at all.
Packed carefully in recyclable packaging with growing instructions and our carefully researched and detailed provenance, the option of gift-wrapping from Cambridge Imprint paper, along with a lovely ribbon and our own gift card. Couriered with Royal Mail Tracked 24 acrosss the UK.
