Early 20^th Century Damascus Inlaid Cupboard / Side Table   

A very usual example of an early 20th Century Syrian Damascus side table. Usual because of its condition, lifting top section and opening draw compartment. A lovely shape and true interior design piece of functional furniture. All inlaid wooden sections are present with some light loss as you may expect from an item of its age and previous use, overall a lovely example with its original import stamp under the lid as shown.

Condition Report

Naturally aged items, that has stood the test of time. Wear and tear in certain areas as 98% of the wooden detail inlay is still present as shown. A very good condition item considering its age and use. The bottom of the cupboard section is made from a light wood and is flimsy due to drying out and age, we have chosen to leave this item untouched as its 100% original in its form. Scuffs and marks are present to the base of the legs as shown in the close of the legs section photo.

Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas of these pieces, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment upon purchase.
