Item Description
19TH Century English/ American folk-art scratch-built model of a school
A rare example of a 19th century English/American folk-art scratch-built model of a school. With 3 headmasters standing in each doorway wearing metal caps. The building resembles a religious school of sorts, due to the inserted carved crucifix depictions. With inserted paper clocks and chip work decoration this example resembles typical tramp art techniques. A one-sided model of large scale, a complete one of piece of art in our humble opinion.
