Item Description
A beautifully preserved mid-century Italian Florentine toleware chandelier with 6 flower bud bulb holders arranged within and abundant spray of hand painted metal leaves and blooms. The palette of soft greens, russets and warm ochres is classic Florentine work from the 1950s - 70s, the paint is in unusually good condition with only gentle, age -appropriate patina.
At 53 cm wide and 46 cm high [excluding chain and cup], it has generous but easy to place presence, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, garden rooms, or above a dining table. The original matching ceiling rose is included, adding to the authenticity and charm.
Still retaining its original wiring, so it will need checking or rewiring by a qualified electrician before installation.
