Offered for sale is this antique mahogany dining table & 12 matching chairs.
Solid mahogany top. Wonderful colour mahogany top with a reeded edge. Standing on twin pillar supports with turned central column, 3 splayed legs with brass paw castors. 2 additional leaves. The table can be used with either 1 or 2 leaves in, or as 2 "D" ends put together. Original brass clips to fasten the table together under the top. It has extending rails under the top to support the weight of the leaves
Its 262cm long fully extended (closed 170cm closed). Each of the 2 leaves are 46cm wide
Set 12 chairs in mahogany, 10 single chairs and 2 carver chairs. Lyre shaped splat backs with brass inlay, drop in upholstered seats, standing on reeded sabre legs
The table is offered in good clean original condition
The top retains its original polished finish, it has genuine signs of use & wear but overall nice & clean
The chairs are all solid and sturdy. Nice clean upholstered seats
