I absolutely adore this Napoleon III moss green cotton velvet chaise longue despite its obvious areas for improvement. The colour of the fabric is delicious, the form of the chaise longue is perfect.. I love sliding int a chaise longue, putting my feet up and having a moment of me time. The legs are ebonised turned pear wood, the velvet is cotton and this is a wonderfully comfortable example. A you can see there are areas of braid that need sticking back down and the panel that has the lumber support has been ripped... you can see the original stuffing underneath. As you can see from the photographs however, if this is nearly perfect for you and a few throw cushions are up your street, this can be used as it is. WE have priced with the rarity and beauty in mind but in consideration of the work required too. An absolute treasure.
