Item Description
Description: Quality antique cottage door knob dating from the early 1800’s. In spun brass with a single cast back plate. Supplied with a square bar spindle and grub screw they are suitable for installation with rim locks. The side with a back plate fits flush to the wooden door and the side without a back plate sits flush to a rim lock. The price is for one handle, I currently have seven sets available, please note that each handle varies slightly, they are not identical (see group photos).
Condition: Very good. Slight signs of wear from age and use, including some very light dings to the brass handle. These handles have been hand polished and are unlacquered therefore a gentle clean with brass polish occasionally will maintain the shine.
