Item Description
Description: An original pair of antique Victorian double hooks. With decorative brass chase work stems, ending in ceramic lobed finials. One finial is slightly larger than the others, hence not an exact match but very close. The versatile size would hang several coats. These examples date to the 1880’s, the decorative cast brass back plates each have four recessed screw holes for installation.
Condition: Very good. One has some slight separation to the brass work on the stem, (only visible on close inspection), revealing the iron underneath, see photo 6. This in no way effects the use. One lobed ceramic finial is a fraction larger than the other three, please refer to the photographs.
