Wonderful coffee set designed by Susan Williams Ellis for Portmeirion Pottery, England. 1960s. Comprising one tall coffee pot and six cups and saucers. Wonderfully named "Magic City", with its unusual, sculptural handles and its otherworldly pattern of domed buildings in rich colourways, the name of this Mid Century set couldn't be more apt. Designed by the multi-talented Susan Williams-Ellis, who was the co-founder of Portmeirion Pottery and an important British 20th Century designer. No chips or cracks and in very good condition. Measurement is for the tall coffee pot.
