Item Description
A late nineteenth century, French copper jelly mould. This is marked “TROTTIER FNT PARIS” in a circle above the pattern number “11’. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. The design is quite simple, consisting of six fluted columns, and Trottier made this design in many sizes. It has a wired rim and there is a steel ring attached so that it can hang when not in use. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
