Item Description
A Grimwade’s pottery jelly mould in the form of a shell. This is marked, in black transfer print, “GRIMWADES STOKE ON TRENT ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also cast, in the potting, “5 INS SHELL”. Shell relates to the design and 5 INS relates roughly to the internal width of the mould in inches. The moulding of the design is very crisp and it would turn out well. There is a chip on the exterior of the rim but this would not prevent the mould from being used.
Dimensions: Length 18cm. Width 14cm. Height 11.6cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £30. Most of Western Europe add £15.
