Mole Vintage is run by Kevin and Sara Moore and grew out of our shared enthusiasm for sourcing unusual and characterful vintage items. We are not followers of current trends, nor bound by a particular period, but we are drawn to pieces which have a strong presence. Either because of their inherent quality and design, or because they are something unique or eye-catching. We usually buy items that we really like, in the belief that other people will like them too.
Much, but not all, of our stock of furniture, lighting, mirrors and decorative items is sourced in France, where we have developed a great network of local dealers since we started the business.
The Mole Vintage team:
Sara has been self-employed, running her own interior design business in Devon for twenty years, and in addition she has been buying and selling vintage and antique furniture with her husband, Kevin, for the past six or seven years. The interior design business has given her a great insight into sourcing vintage pieces for interiors schemes.
Kevin ran his own building and carpentry business prior to the start of Mole Vintage. His extensive skills and decades of hands-on experience are the firm basis for all our restoration work, including re-constructing furniture, re-wiring lighting, and sanding, waxing and staining vintage items. He has had a life-long passion for antiques.
