Featured is the renowned brasserie 'La Rotonde'. Signed by the artist to the lower right E. Hunter.
Watercolour heightened with gouache. Framed behind glass in a Montparnasse frame.
Mary Ethel Hunter 1878-1936. Portrait, landscape and figure painter born Yorkshire. Studied at Newlyn in Cornwall and in Paris. Friend of Dod Procter. Art mistress at St Albans. Exhibited at R.A.,Society of Woman Artists,London Salon,New English Art Club and elsewhere. Lived in Ripon North Yorkshire.
