Item Description
A very pretty rare antique French mauve enamel two part cafetière dating from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The piece features two handles and is complete with a lid and it’s filter intact. This cafetiere is hand painted with floral design in brown and white with sprigs of flowers on the front and back. The piece also features gilt banding which has faded over time.
There are various rusted areas and chipping to the enamel in places commensurate with age. This piece will no longer hold liquids and is for display only.
