Item Description
A beautiful pair of vintage pink capriz shell pendants. These scalloped lights have the most beautiful soft glow. Paired with a warm beige neutral flex and brushed brass fittings.
Capriz shells are from the windowpane oyster shells found on the island of Samal in the Philippines, these were handmade in the 1970’s, crafted by cutting the shells into the shapes, soldering thin brass around each piece before shaping into an artichoke like structure.
The colouring on one of the pieces is slightly darker. Please see all photos. The pale pink doesn’t come across very well. More images of the colour can be provided. Each shade requires one B22 lamp. The coloured braided flex can be changed to your preference and a matching ceiling fitting is supplied.
These shades have been fully rewired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of experts and are now ready to be installed. We recommend that they are installed by an electrician into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean dust the flex and brass components regularly with a soft cloth. The shade can then be wiped with a glass wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
