Weather Beaten Bust Roman Emperor Head Figure Fibreglass Italian Painted Gesso

A fabulous Italian circa 1970 fibreglass & gesso bust of the Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius. Garden weather beaten & time worn, with some superficial marks, wear & knocks. From a very short distance away it is virtually indistinguishable from being weathered carved stone. It has a wonderful visual look to it with its appealing patina which has only been achieved through time. Completely untouched & original. It stands well & is now ideal for interior display on a desk or side table or you may choose to display outside? The previous owners of this were displaying it in their garden for many years albeit in a sheltered partially covered area, they did take it inside in the winter months I was told. Great item & a practical weight to move around as you wish. Around half life size. Overall standing height 18 inches. Width 14 inches. Depth 6.5 inches.
