A mid 19th Century Gardner & Co (New York) Perforated Veneer Baby Chair.
Walnut frame with a flowing one piece perforated veneer back and seat. Faint makers stamping verso.
Historic repair to one stretcher. Although sturdy for its age & good overall condition considering its structure material, this is more a collectors display piece than actual use.
Quite usable as a Teddy Bear chair though. It measures a diminutive 18.5 Inches in overall height & just 750 Grams in weight.
