A George III period land auction poster & particulars. Hucknall Torkard, Nottinghamshire. Size 17" x 11", unfolded 17" x 22". Covering arable land, meadows, pastures, farm houses, cottages & other buildings. Dates to Monday 30th August 1819. Interesting to note how G.Stretton, Nottinghamshire, the printers of this poster used every typeset they had when printing the front page, showing off their printing skills. A unique survivor from the late Georgian period & almost certainly the only one still in existence, it would look great framed. Sale includes UK inland tracked delivery.
