A beautiful pair of English William Blyth hand thrown terracotta bell planters. Dusky brown hue finish. Believed to be approximately 20 or so years old, never used & have been kept inside an old dry barn since new. Good overall condition, no cracks, both ring well when tapped. Approximately 10 inches in height & 15 inches in top diameter. William Blyth have been in business since 1840, using alluvial clay extracted from the southern banks of the river humber. They are renowned for their high quality hand made clay products. This sale is for the pair & includes delivery within the mainland of the United Kingdom.
