These are beautiful! A pair of plain, simple country style floppy antique French linen sheets. They'll hang perfectly as a gorgeous pair of unlined curtains or can be made into lined or interlined curtains or blinds. Or used for light upholstery. Or you could use them as sheets, if you like slightly rustic bedding.
Just beautiful simple linen sheets with hand stitched hems. Really charming; gorgeous fabric. A pale creamy putty colour which is very attractive. One sheet is just a very tiny bit darker than the other; one or two hot washes should bring the colour up to match but really, the difference is minimal.
A lovely feel to the linen, they're tightly woven and yet quite fine but with so much weight and drape - you won't find this with modern linen and it's really hard to describe.
These sheets show no signs of use, there is no softening, no thinning, damage or wear. Laundered and ready for use, I don't think there are any marks; if there's anything it'll be tiny/pale.
If you want to use them as unlined curtains they are ready to hang; use little cafe clips and your window will be dressed in moments.
