Item Description
A set of 10 vintage French linen damask napkins. Good quality linen with an attractive pattern to the damask. I have hand dyed this set in a warm mid blue (colour looks a bit too bright/over saturated on my screen, they're a softer colour than I've managed to capture!). But I do love to dye damask, it really brings the wonderful patterns of the weave alive.
A monogram of the letters MP is set within the central cartouche of the design and they have simple hand turned hems, all hand stitched. This set dates to the 1940s-50s.
In excellent vintage condition with no wear or damage.
