Item Description
This is a fabulous large unused French linen sheet; excellent quality, tightly woven, smooth and cool to the touch. This will make a wonderful sheet but will also be perfect for projects, make a perfect tablecloth, sofa throw, blind or curtain - the list goes on.
The sheet is a cool stoney beige colour which will lighten as it is laundered. You may not be thrilled by the ribbon hem but it has been lovingly stitched on by hand. And I love the pencilled name in one corner; linen was marked in this way when it was cut from the bolt waiting to be stitched for a customer.
Unused, possibly never laundered and waiting to shine. No modern linen comes close to the quality of these vintage pieces, this will last for decades. No marks so speak of and of course, no damage or thinning.
