A wonderfully eccentric occasional table formed from a handcrafted clinker-built rowing boat, complete with oars and inset glass top.
Constructed in the manner of a traditional wooden skiff, the boat features overlapping timber planks, exposed ribs, metal fittings and turned oarlocks, all raised on a simple trestle stand that transforms the piece from maritime model into functional furniture.
The thick removable glass top rests neatly across the gunwales, creating a highly unusual coffee or cocktail table with genuine sculptural presence.
There is something delightfully whimsical about it: part Scandinavian lakeside cabin, part yacht-club nostalgia, part midcentury design. It works particularly well in relaxed, characterful interiors where decorative objects are allowed to tell their story.
