Item Description
A long handled, 19th century, brass colander. This is French and it dates from c.1880. The colander is made from a thick gauge of brass, has a rolled rim and copper rivets. The long handle is nicely turned from beechwood. There is a small split in the rolled rim, by the handle fitting, but otherwise the piece is in very good condition. Because brass does not need to be tinned for use with food the colander is still usable.
Dimensions: Length 65.4cm. Width 24.3cm. Depth 9cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £60. Most of Western Europe add £30.
