Item Description
A late 19th century, beechwood breadboard. This is quite nicely carved with two simple, stylised flowers and long leaves and it dates from c.1890. The carving has slight wear and the board has a nicely dished centre from use. It is in good condition with the usual knife marks to both the face and the reverse of the board. The face of the board has been varnished at some time but this has been removed and the wood now has quite a dark patina.
Dimensions: Diameter 29.6cm. Depth 1.8cm.
