A nice quality, Victorian copper mould. This is marked, to one end, with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above a pattern number “621”. To the opposite end it is stamped with a workman’s mark in the shape of a fleur de lys. It dates from c.1880. The design consists of six reeded columns with tops which resemble snow flakes. There is a tiny dent to one of the snow flakes but otherwise it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
