Item Description
A small, 19th century, copper fancy border mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number “449”. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The design is very simply, consisting of twenty one, small, dome topped columns resembling sponge fingers. It is in excellent condition and the tinning to the interior, although slightly worn, is still in usable condition.
