Item Description
A good quality, 19th century, French copper egg whisking bowl. This is stamped “MORA & CIE. PARIS 1er”. Beneath this is the remains of an address in Paris but this has been worn away by polishing over the years. Mora & Cie were established in the early 19th century, in Paris, and were renown for the production of superb quality copper kitchenware. This piece is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. It has a wired rim and a large, brass, folding loop handle. There are a couple of very tiny dents to the bowl but generally it is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 31.7cm. Depth 15.5cm.
