Item Description
A large, pewter, two part, hinged, ice cream mould in the shape of a fish. This is French and it dates from c.1880. The moulding of the design is exceptionally well detailed and would turn out very well. The exterior of the mould has a very good, dark patina and the interior is still in very good, bright, usable condition. Originally there were two handles, one to either side of the mould, but one of these has broken off and the brass pins in the hinges are modern brass replacements as there were none when we bought the mould.
