Item Description
A large, three part, pewter ice cream pudding mould with a bunch of grapes to the top. This is English and it dates from c.1880. The base is marked with the capacity “2 1/2 PINTS” and a number ”50” which is probably the pattern number. The lid, or top section of the piece, is marked with a registered design Kite Mark which would date the registration of the design to the 9th of June 1877. The lid is beautifully moulded with a bunch of grapes and this would turn out well. The mould is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
Dimensions: Diameter 19.7cm. Height 10.5cm.
