Item Description
A nineteenth century, French copper mould with a bird to the top. The mould is stamped with a pattern number ‘369’ above a cockerel. The cockerel is the symbol used by the French company Letang and the mould dates from c.1880. The bird design is very well detailed and it sits above stiff leaf and fluted sides. It is well made, from a substantial gauge of copper. It is in excellent condition and a small, brass loop has been attached so that it can hang. This is a much later addition. The tinning, to the interior, is still in good enough condition for the mould to be used. Dimensions: Length 13.6cm. Width 10.6cm. Height 9cm. Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
