Item Description
An 18th century, polychrome Dutch Delft plate. This is painted predominantly in blue and green, with a small amount of ochre and iron red, with a very random floral design. To the rim is a wide border of alternating flower and geometric panels. The plate dates from c.1760. There are a few small chips to the rim, which can be seen in the image, and there is minor flaking to the glaze, as one would expect with Delft of this period.
Dimensions: Diameter 22.3cm. Depth 3.4cm.
