Item Description
A rare, early 20th century, yellow jasper dip portrait medallion depicting King Edward the 7th. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and dates from c.1911. The relief is not the very best quality but there is very good attention to detail in the uniform. It was one of two plaques designed by Herbert Hampton, for Wedgwood, in 1910 and it is signed “H. Hampton 1911” in the white relief, just under the shoulder. It is in very good condition.
