Item Description
A small, 19th century, English copper mould with a Prince of Wales Feathers design to the top. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams and to the opposite side is the pattern number “127” above “A”. The mould is super quality, made from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1870. The design to the top is very deep and well detailed. It is in excellent condition but the tinning to the interior is worn. This is an unusual, and very desirable, design to find in the miniature version.
