Item Description
A nineteenth century, French copper, two part mould to produce a three dimensional scroll. This form of mould was often used for making a scroll out of ice or nougat which would have been used as one of the supports for a large table centrepiece. This example is well detailed and it dates from c.1890. There is pitting to the copper, which is most probably from contact with ice when being used, and the tinning is worn. Otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Height 19cm. Width 10cm. Depth 3cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
