Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip trinket box. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the letter “J” which would be the workman’s mark. The sides of the box are decorated, in white relief, with four different classical subjects divided by anthemion and the lid has a further classical subject surrounded by a narrow border of roses. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. There is slight staining to the base of the box but it is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Height 5.8cm. Diameter 7.6cm.
