Item Description
A nineteenth century, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip trinket box and cover. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1880. The box is decorated, in white relief, with four scenes which all include cherubs or putti and there are anthemion to the corners. The lid has a central classical subject surrounded by four small stylised flowers and there is a narrow floral border. There is slight staining to the interior but the box is in good condition.
Dimensions: 10.5cm. square by 5cm. high.
