Item Description
An attractive, small, 18th century, polychrome Dutch Delft charger. This is boldly decorated, in shades of blue, green, manganese, iron red and ochre, with a central panel depicting a basket of flowers. This is surrounded by a narrow geometric board and a wider border of fruits and flowers. To the rim is a wide blue band with scratch decoration. The charger dates from c.1780. There are a few chips to the rim and the usual glaze flaking which one expects with tin glazed earthenware from this period and these can all be seen in the images.
