Item Description
A good quality, 19th century, Wedgwood, three colour jasperware biscuit barrel. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1870. It has a central band of green dip colour which is decorated, in white relief, with a band of classical maidens offering sacrifices. There are bands of lilac dip both above and beneath the central band. The lid, rim and handle are silver plated and the piece is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height to top of finial on lid 15.2cm. Diameter 14cm.
