Always popular, these Victorian pine trunks are so useful for both storage and as side tables, coffee tables etc. This example has a wonderful warm glow and is in great condition - the original steel handles match the original escutcheon whilst the size is perfect for a small coffee table, in a bay window or for storage at the end of a single bed.
Inside there's a little surprise - not only does it have a candle tray (the tallow from the candles would deter moths which is why the candles were stored with the linens!) and also a sweet little sliding drawer for storing secrets!
