English Oak Modernist Sideboard Cabinet 1930
A stunning looking English oak modernist sideboard with sliding doors either side of a flight of central drawers. Not seen another of this design, quality and condition - no maker's mark but number stamped to the rear.
This one sits wonderfully well of superior design and craft with its curved edges, good grain and tone of oak, the flight of 3 drawers with their very attractive original circular brass knobs, internal solid shelves hidden by a pair of sliding oak doors all sitting on the slab end base. Nice panelled back to boot!
Condition as mentioned, is good with the piece in its original workshop finish - expect the odd mark or two etc but all historic and not nasty. Reassuringly heavy and great quality.
