Iconic Döman sculpture from IKEA’s early 1990s collection, designed by Tony Almén and Peter Gest. This large abstract, biomorphic sculpture features smooth tactile flowing curves and three oval openings. Originally produced in a black satin finish, this piece has been stripped and polished, revealing the natural aluminum surface. The polish is intentionally not mirror-perfect, allowing subtle texture and natural patina to show, giving the sculpture a unique, authentic character.
A striking example of Scandinavian organic modern design, perfect as a statement art object for minimalist or mid-century interiors.
