An unusual and very colourful padded fabric picture of racing sailing boats, dating to approximately the 1980s. This joyous image is printed in vivid colours onto cotton. The billowing spinnakers of the yachts and dinghies have been stuffed to give a 3D effect. This gives a feeling of movement and drama to the scene, with the boats jostling for position in what looks like a close race. Overall, it really is very effective. It has a painted wooden frame. There is a label to the back showing it was made in New Zealand. This cheerful piece will add colour and style to any room. It is ready to hang in your home.
The picture is in generally good condition with no fading to the colours. There is a little minor soiling to the fabric in places.
