Item Description
An unusual early 20th century sacristy lavabo, made by respected ecclesiastical suppliers Hayes & Finch Ltd. This would have been mounted on the wall in a church sacristy with a separate basin beneath it, and it would have been used by the priest to wash his hands. It is made of white glazed porcelain with beautifully printed dark blue script to the front. The lid lifts off to allow for filling. This is a super decorative piece. In good original condition. The brass tap is incomplete so it cannot be used.
